Experiential arts and social justice based program
The Morris Winchevsky School’s arts and social justice-based program offers Grade 1-6 students an exploration of Jewish culture, holidays, history, life-cycle events, cooking, environmentalism, Jewish languages, and Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World) all from a secular humanistic perspective.
Students also take part in UJPO holiday celebrations such as the Purimspiel play, a Tu B’Shvat seyder, and asking the Di Fir Kashes (Four Questions) at our annual Third Seyder celebration.
Learning is enhanced with special themes that are interwoven throughout the curriculum.
